Hanneke Benade

About Artist

Hanneke Benade: Born in 1972, Hanneke attended Pro Arte High School in Pretoria, after which she majored in printmaking at university.

She is known for her soft pastels. Besides being an artist, Benade has also lectured at the University of Pretoria and curated a big exhibition at the Pretoria Art Museum. She has spent time at the prestigious Cité International des Arts in Paris, France.

 

EDUCATION

Hanneke Benade completed her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at the University of Pretoria.
